Based in Norfolk UK , Ez-Eco Ltd Company No. 06379488 is a friendly and approachable company that was initially formed in 2004 to market and sell the totally new and intuitive Gobi Building System . Working closely with the Gobi Building System team we have also helped in the further development and testing of the product. This is an ongoing project that because of the many uses this building system has it is likely to be year's before its potential really is known.

Over 8 years ago the inventor met up with Keith Proctor, who started to become involved with moving the product on from being just a prototype. After talking to several people about the product, he mentioned it to an architect who stayed with the project but later left to move to the USA. Also Adrian Brock an engineer by trade, who then started to learn web design, digital drawings/diagrams for technical info & photography, then created the ez-eco to help promote & market test the units then known Quickbrixx.
In 2004 Quickbrixx became the Gobi Building System, and was being marketed by ez-eco. Interest was starting to grow. The inventor found Tri pack Plastics and approached the owner to see if he would manufacture the product. They had their own patented way of sealing the edges of the corriboard and agreed to manufacture the Gobi units with their sealed edges. Stephen from Tri Pack Plastics has been very helpful with advice towards finding the best material to use, properties, life expectancy and more.
The three of them (with help from a few friends) took the Gobi units to Green Build 2005 & The Norfolk Show to show the diversity of the system & to further market test. Whilst using the product to build several test constructions, Adrian came up with a few changes that made them even easier to build with. Firstly was rads, small curves at the top and bottom of the slots, the other was to build with the units the other way round to stop spillage of fillings in the over laps & to use a stronger version of the corriboard. It was decided that these were benefits to the system, as they made them faster, easier to build/fill & stronger. This was the beginning of the Gobi Building System as it is today.
Keith & Adrian have also demonstrated the building system to the MOD & Envrioment Agencies who have both said that they could see many different potentuial & uses for the system.
A few years on Annie Van Loggerenberg joined the team, wanting to help market the product in her home country South Africa to help aid emergency shelters. She has since become a great asset to the team, marketing & promoting the gobi building system in the UK, and Ez-Eco became a limited company.

Ez-Eco Limited has awarded the manufacturer, Tri-pack Plastics Limited, a sole licence to incorporate the Gobi concept with its own patented manufacturing processes.
